For me, my passion for creating & storytelling began at a young age & ever since then I’ve found myself looking at life through a documentary lens (literally). I often catch myself observing and think- wow, what a special moment, I WISH I had my camera.
I’ve always been grateful to have an eye for finding the beauty in others while getting to tell their most authentic story.
I'm a SUCKER for the real moments, the raw moments & timeless memories created. I mean, half the time I’m behind the camera I’m either tearing up in the moment with you or laughing hysterically at the moment we both just experienced.
I adore working with people & love showing up with my light hearted and uplifting approach. No matter what, there’s always room for a laugh & never taking life too seriously
You in your natural state, just being.
These moments may look like:
The discrete glances between you and your partner, where so much is said.. without a single word.
The pure emotion behind the smiles and laughs, that you don't even realize you are doing in the moment.
Its capturing the moment as you try to hold it all together as you see your life partner for the first time walking down the aisle.
The moment when you say "I do" all the way to the moment where you hold your partner for the first time as you dance as one.
So what is documentary style?
To put it simply, letting your day flow exactly as it happens without forcing a narrative for the camera. Some may call it photojournalism- wedding edition.
Documentary style wedding photography is perfect for couples who want to relive their wedding day exactly as it happened. Not to be interrupted during a special moment & told “look over here and smile!” “Cheese!!- LOL, no no.)
The images created taking this approach result in a timeless & accurate representation of your big day, capturing memories and emotions in a way that will be cherished for a lifetime.
